Oh, So You Fancy Huh?

FINALLY, I can say, “I’m taking my talents to South Beach.” Not literally, but we are moving on up from the dog-eat-dog world of Facebook and Twitter, and hitting the airwaves of the Eastern Shore.

While on my daily commute, to spread joy and cheer with the world, I was prompted to answer a question I had heard on the radio. After sharing my knowledge, or lack thereof, on the situation, I was asked to come into studio and actually have a sit down in the Hip Hop Coffee Shop. A morning show on the “Eastern Shore’s Number 1 Station For Hip Hop & RnB.”

Your very on Hitch will be cuttin’ it up with Bill Baker The Rump Shaker and Jessica Monday, from 7 in the morning until the we leave the Latte Lounge. If you’re a fan of what you’ve seen/read already, be sure to tune in via radio dial or the world wide interweb. OC104 is streaming live for those who aren’t in the area, so no one will be left out of this momentous event.

Support Lights Off, Swag On by calling in to show some love, or to share some of your life’s love problems. Either way, it promises to be some “good radio” Monday morning, so you don’t want to miss out!

A Hitch Minute: FAQs

As Valentine’s Day draws closer, I am noticing there seems to be a little bit of confusion about the book. I wanted to take the time to answer the questions that are the most frequently asked. Of course, if you have additional questions please don’t hesitate to ask! After all, we’re less than a week away! Without further adieu, here we go…

Hitch, did you really write this book? Or did some college buddies of yours do this?

Why yes, yes I did write the book. It took many years of hard work and persistence to stay with this project. The LOSO idea has been alive for almost three years now! Hard to believe right? But that’s enough about me… let’s talk about you.

Where will the book be available?

The Player’s Handbook will be available on Amazon Kindle and Apple iBookstore the earliest (i.e. Valentine’s Day). Throughout the remainder of the month of February and into early March the book will then become available on Barnes & Noble, Sony, Kobo, and Copia. Happy hunting!

So the book isn’t actually being printed?

Actually to the contrary. It is printed… just online. More and more titles are going this route for a variety of reasons whether they simply want to save trees or just don’t want to deal with the huge publishing companies that turn down so many fresh ideas due to their unconventional ways. Sorry kids, no print version this time around.

Will there be an actual paper version?

This is entirely up to you, the public, to decide. If it sells well enough online, then I might consider it…

I don’t have a tablet. That means I can’t read the book right?

False. I’m 100% sure that each and every one of you has access to the book. You don’t think Hitch would lead you astray do you? If you prefer the Amazon route, here’s a helpful link:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000493771

This will set you up with your brand new e-reader app for whatever device you may have (free of charge!).

I think that covers most of the main questions floating around out there. Like I said earlier, please don’t hesitate to ask any questions or forward any comments along. I appreciate everything you guys and gals have done for the LOSO project already. Look forward to seeing everyone on Valentine’s Day! Now if you’ll excuse me, I have some important business to attend to. Woof.
